Sophie joined Smith & Co Solicitors in April 2025. Sophie grew up in Felixstowe and attended Farlingaye High School, where she studied Government and Politics for ‘A’ level. She found herself particularly drawn to the law aspect of the curriculum so enrolled at the University of East Anglia in Norwich to study a Law degree, which she followed up with a Master’s in Law. Sophie chose to work at Smith & Co as she wanted to stay in Suffolk, where she is close to family and friends.

Sophie initially joined the conveyancing team at Smith & Co solicitors as a work experience student and moved into the Private Client team to support the fee earners in aspects of Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. Our clients will speak to Sophie when they’re ready to make appointments, request any paperwork, attend one of our legal clinics or have general enquiries which she can direct them to the best person.

Having spent most of her life in Felixstowe, Sophie’s favourite part is the beach which she visits often. She spends her spare time reading, meeting up with friends and travelling.
