Carrie-Ann joined Smith & Co Solicitors in September 2023. She studied law at the University of Northampton and then completed the Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law London.

She has local connections in the Ipswich area from her days as a Conveyancing Fee Earner and also as an Operational Manager for a charity managing services supporting children and young people in the care system. Having taken time out of the workplace to raise her family, Carrie-Ann has returned to law and her role includes progressing property transactions and supporting the conveyancing team.

In her own time, Carrie-Ann sits on foster care panels with Eastern Fostering Services, based in East Bergholt. She also has two daughters and a son who keep her very busy. She enjoys walking her dog, spending time with family and friends and exercising.
