Karen joined the Smith & Co Solicitors team in August 2025. She is a highly experienced residential conveyancer in the West Suffolk area, with a reputation for offering sound advice, being approachable, and putting her clients’ needs at the forefront of every transaction. 

Karen began her legal career in 2001, working as a trainee at the well-known family-run law firm, Valentines in Haverhill. Karen qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2008 after three years of training at Chelmsford College and became an integral part of the property team.

Outside of office hours, Karen enjoys time with her large family which includes 10 grandchildren. She can often be found unwinding in the garden and has a real love for travelling.
