Abbie joined Smith & Co Solicitors in August 2025 and is responsible for staff welfare, development and recruitment. Having attended Samuel Ward Academy in Haverhill, Abbie then studied at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds. She worked as an office manager for firms in Cambridge and Newmarket, before returning to Haverhill to join the team at a well-established, family-run law firm.

With this background and knowledge of the West Suffolk area, Abbie’s experience makes her well qualified to lead the Smith & Co team. She has a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to  keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, enabling our team of solicitors and legal assistants to deliver excellent client care.

Abbie is dedicated to making Smith & Co Solicitors a place where every one of our team feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work. Her focus is on creating a positive and inclusive workplace, and ensures our culture reflects the care and respect we show our clients.

Abbie lives in a small village close to Haverhill and enjoys being part of her local community, with family time her number one priority at weekends.
