Paul joined Smith & Co Solicitors in August 2025. He grew up in and went to school in Hedingham and began his career in law as a cashier at a firm based in Braintree. He then moved into the mortgage centre of a national building society, working within their mortgage processing centre, and eventually moving to their Head Office to work on a systems and process engineering project for mortgages.

Following this role, Paul joined a Haverhill-based law firm where he further developed his legal career for 22 years. During this time, Paul gained experience of client account finances, accounting, cashiering, together with an understanding of the importance of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

At Smith & Co, Paul is responsible for transparent billing, smooth processes, reassuring adherence of regulatory requirements and timely communication. His focus is on giving clients confidence throughout their legal matters from start to finish.

Paul lives near Sudbury and enjoys exploring the local West Suffolk countryside with his dog. With three daughters keeping him busy, he likes to make the most of any spare time by watching motor racing.
